Launch of OCR Marshals Germany

Launch of OCR Marshals Germany

We have been working together with Strong Viking and OCR Frankfurt to set up a program that will help the advancement of the OCR sport. The OCR sport is becoming more and more professional. The number of races keeps on growing and the athletes are getting stronger and more skilled everyday! OCR Race marshals are urgently needed to ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely. Germany is currently still lagging behind.. But this will change!

In the absence of a federation structure in Germany, the training and organization of Race Marshals will be carried out by the non-profit organization OCR Frankfurt  from January 2017. The aim of the training is to learn basic rules as well as dealing with athletes. The trained Marshals will ensure compliance with the rules at the OCR EC in Wächtersbach on 04.06.2017. In addition, they will be responsible for all German qualifying races of the Strong Viking OCR Series.

The training will be identical to the training of the Marshals of OCRA Benelux. Jerry Jansen (Survival Academy) and race director of OCR EC 2017 will be the coach for the first time on 14 January 2017 in Frankfurt am Main. He has trained all Marshals in Benelux. On further appointments, trainers from OCR Frankfurt will continue this training program. For more info you can check out the Facebookpage of OCR Marshals Germany.

We encourage requests from other race organizers!
